The ProcessOne team have been assisting customers with their EDI systems since 1992, when we developed our first inbound PO EDI system for Heinz. We've been working with EDI ever since, firstly as a services organization supporting EDI software and latterly with the development and support of our own cloud based EDI software P1 EDI.

The decision to develop our own EDI software was taken for a number of reasons

  • We saw that a lot of EDI software was getting old, written at the start of the internet in the mid 1990's. Technology had moved on significantly since then, but most EDI software hadn't. 
  • Customers were becoming frustrated with the number of errors that were having to solve and payments were being delayed
  • The cloud is now a stable and viable business platform and we saw that this offered real business advantages to our customers.
  • A cloud EDI software product based on Microsoft .NET, HTML5 and Microsoft Azure solved all these issues, and ProcessOne has designed, developed and released P1 EDI.

We have experience in range of manufacturing industries, with special expertise in consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and metals. We also have experience in dealing with large retail chains such as Walmart and Target, and distributors such as McKesson and Cardinal Health.

ProcessOne is based in Richmond, VA, all implementation and support is run from our Richmond office. This is headed up by VP of Operations, Calvin Smucker.

All software development is done in Auckland, NZ, with the NZ team headed up by our CEO Lindsay Rewcastle.
